 Thornhill Regional Dog Park

Racco Parkway, Vaughan, ON View map

Off Duffering just south of the 407

Fully fenced, separate small dog area which is also fully fenced in, some poop bags avail. one picnic bench and one metal bench, water may be obtained from the adjoining public washrooms.

This is a new park so there are no trees and no shade. The ground cover has some prickly weeds, so paws must be checked.

This is a public park so entry is free. Plenty of parking available. Drive into the park gates and go twds the left.

Follow the road until the very end. The off leash area is down at the end of the sidewalk.

I love this park. I live in Maple and I drive to this park all the time. I would also like it if there were lights for night time play.

Nice large park, not cluttered with too many benches and tables(we're there to watch our pets, not to talk or read books), rules are listed in visible area for all visitors to read (especially those who bring young children who think it's a playground for their kids).
Can't wait for the city to put more parks in place.

This area is quite big and it's all fenced in. They also have a smaller fenced in area for small dogs only but everyone lets their dogs play together in the big area. I've been here 5 times so far. Wish they had some lights for evening play.

It doesn't have to be an "official" off-leash park, any dog friendly area has its place on our website. If you feel comfortable taking your dog there and have good experiences then we want to hear about the place! Thank you all for the updates.
