Between Warden and Woodbine, just south of the 407.

This park has a large paved parking lot, which is great. There are double gates by the entry for safety and poop bags as well and a bunch of rules posted plus a garbage bin for non-poop and three large bins for poop - great!

The park was very busy on this sunny saturday morning when we were there but most people were just sitting around and I didn't get a very cheerful vibe - but nothing bad either.

To my surprise there was an agility training area at the back. It sure has seen better days but despite the weathered conditions there is nothing unsafe about it for the dogs and they had a great time chasing each other around the obstacles.

The ground is mostly mulch and grass, clean of garbage. There are lots of benches - some are even sheltered for rain and these areas are sitting on an elevated deck so they are mud free when it rains.

Overall it seems that people are trying hard to maintain the park and make it nice as well as useful and it's almost there. A few more volunteer hands and a little more funding could turn this park from B to A+. (The Totoredaca park in Mississauga is a very similar concept but more established - maybe get some ideas from them)

Can be a great run for your pup-or not. Totally depends on the mix.
be prepared to leave if it\'s not suitable (and that\'s OK with me)
water is available. a small doggie pool and sometimes the hose will spray a mist(which is really nice in this hot weather) super large bottles filled with water that can fill smaller drinking bowls
no bathrooms
not sure if there are poop bags as i bring my own
right now good mulch cover.
like the platform where the tables are, plus there is some shade from trees
smaller sized grassy area
nice double gate-sometimes not closed properly.good amount of parking, garbage bins and poop bins.
day time has lots of dogwalkers
evening a rather careless crowd that practices mimimal monitering of their pup\'s behaviour(which is unfortunate)
not a \"friendly group\" but most not UNfriendly
but I\'m there for pup to get a run for other dogs- not looking for my newest best friend. sometimes it would be nice to share training ideas, health tips and problem solve the lastest aggrevation with pup!

This is a great park with lots of friendly people and dogs! It is spacious so the dogs get a great run. My only concern is I\'m worried about the uncleanliness. I know - it\'s a dog park, but it needs a good covering of mulch, right now (March/11) it is pure mud, and has a significant smell of poop - too many people abuse it by not cleaning up. The mud I can handle, the smell and amount of poop - not good. A good covering of mulch is very much needed!

Like another poster said, there are quite a few irresponsible owners that come to this park.

We love this park...it's run by volunteers and pretty much policed by the members. Plus, being open 24/7 365 days a year is a big bonus. A double gate entrance keeps the wannabe runaways in check and there are plenty of bags for doo doo duty.

We've never seen any dog who wasn't properly controlled, we feel very safe letting our 7 month old dobie run around with any and all breeds she befriends.

There will always be those folks who don't pick up after themselves and their dogs, but rest assured, they are politely reminded by the other members and volunteers.

Some people do not pick up doo doo. Wild dogs are not monitored properly by their owners. A dirty area that needs to be cleaned up.

It doesn't have to be an "official" off-leash park, any dog friendly area has its place on our website. If you feel comfortable taking your dog there and have good experiences then we want to hear about the place! Thank you all for the updates.
