Rotary Park, near Lemoine's Point in Kingston

Sent in by Sandra: I recently visited the designated off-leash dog-park at the Rotary Park. It featured a nice large fenced open area, and a generous fenced wooded area with paths. Bring your own poop bag and water (although other friendly visitors shared their water with my dog). There seemed to be quite a few regulars there- (I'm new to the dog park scene myself) and everyone was very friendly, including the people. There are a few benches and picnic tables for owners to rest on, and there is lots of available parking. There isn't a separate small and large dog area.

I have been to the Meadowbrook park a few times. it\\\\\\\'s a good sized park, with a bit of brush on down the length of one side with a walking trail behind it. it does get VERY muddy when it has rained. also, it is a minute or so walk from the parking area. they have a few benches, byo water though. it\\\\\\\'s never very busy when I go either.

I am a frequent user of the Memorial Centre Dog Park. This park is great for the dogs to run as there aren't any trees. There is a new shelter and benches. The only drawback is water. This park is open like a tarmac and gets pretty hot for the dogs. Most people bring water but it would be nice if a water line was added to the park.

It doesn't have to be an "official" off-leash park, any dog friendly area has its place on our website. If you feel comfortable taking your dog there and have good experiences then we want to hear about the place! Thank you all for the updates.
