Sorry, no pictures for this park - it got dark by the time i got there and the pictures turned out to be very dark and useless.

It's a new park with plenty of parking and the fencing is in very good condition. There is a giant message board by the entrance but what i missed was a container full of plastic bags. Also, the only garbage bin is outside the park so if your pooch poops in the far corner you have to carry the poop all the way back to the entrance, which is a big inconvenient but not a big problem.

There are many nice young trees inside the park and there is plenty of open green space for dogs to run around off leash.

Seems like that the park is bit far from everything unless you have a car (but don't quote me on this because I'm not a Brantford resident and can't accurately gauge distances).

One more thing: bring water - especially in the summer - because there is no access to water in or around the park.

Enjoy!

We had a visit to the Brantford park this week. Since we have only ever been to the Cambridge park (which is a bit of a mud pit) I might be biased but I loved it! My 7 month old lab is very easily amused! There was also a ton of other labs here which is rare in Cambridge so he was very happy.
There are a good number of trees so I imagine it will be even nicer in the summer. There was a fair bit of mud near the entrance but I expect nothing less in the early spring. No water or bags but I never expect that either.
The people there seemed nice and all the dogs well under control and seemed healthy.
It was worth the drive for us!

This was the first dog park Oliver and I attended. The people were great, it was very busy with lots of socializing dogs. Looks to be about 4 acres or so. No available water so bring your own, I think you need your own bags too. Some smaller trees inside, I'd imagine there isn't much shade in the summer though. It does seem kind of in the middle of nowhere though. All dog sizes and breeds are welcome. I LOVE their website which is advertised on this page as it goes over how dogs play, and not to perceive playing behaviour as agressive behaviour.

It doesn't have to be an "official" off-leash park, any dog friendly area has its place on our website. If you feel comfortable taking your dog there and have good experiences then we want to hear about the place! Thank you all for the updates.
