I attend this park on a regular basis. It has a front area sectioned off for small dogs along with a larger front area for large dogs. Across the little bridge is the walking trail and yes, there is a swampy area which is not a good spot for dogs who love to adventure into the swamp. But if your dog isn't interested in adventuring off the trail into the swamps, it's actually a nice little park for the dogs to run. Unfortunately it is surrounded by industry and we did find a pipe sticking out of the ground at chest height of a medium sized dog in the brush area near the fence, so it is a good idea to keep on eye on where your dog goes if he ventures off the path in the back area.

Can anyone update this?

Hey there! I agree with the previous comment, but the swamp is actually run off from the factories that are located in the rear of the park! Many dogs have gotten sick from this park! some wose then others! Also it is the responsibility of dog owners to pick up after there dogs, but NO ONE DOES! there is dog poop all over the place! To top it off, there greass is really high and the walking path is very small! so unless you want to walk in dog poop all day long, or you want to pay big money to the vet because your dog got sick! then go to this park! Thank you for your interest! I only speak the truth!

This is a terrible off leash park. I was told by staff of the shelter (dog pound actually) that the fence is lifted 1 to 2 feet at some points. Also a significant amount of the park is a mud swamp. Any dog that likes water will be covered in mud and I couldn\'t find any hoses or water sources to wash my dog off. People in the park mentioned that dogs who drink this swampy water get sick for a day or so and this is what happened to my dog. If you have a choice, don't go to this park.

It doesn't have to be an "official" off-leash park, any dog friendly area has its place on our website. If you feel comfortable taking your dog there and have good experiences then we want to hear about the place! Thank you all for the updates.
